Promotional Products

Do they work?

Yes. Usage of promotional gifts and branded items has been employed by groups for decades. The reasons are simple; they reaffirm brand, can convey positivity towards a company/organisation, might even become a status/cultural symbol [football strip for example and certain car badges] and last far longer than conventional advertising.

How do they work?

Millions of us like 'things.' The power of promotional items, when combined with good advertising, is long-lasting, keeping your logo/brand/message in front of, not only your target audience, but further potential 'customers.'

How are they regarded?

At a recent Trade Show those offered promotional products reacted as follows:

  1. About three-quarters of those at the show picked up the gift because they thought it would be useful.
  2. Almost a quarter were happy to have a gift, whatever it was.
  3. Just a handful accepted on the off-chance it was collectible.
  4. A few more picked it up thinking it was pretty.
  5. A negligible amount of attendees refused the gift.

The Conclusion

Put simply, people enjoy, retain and look forward to having more promotional products.

It's a safe bet that in our kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and in the work place, we can put our hands on someone's promotional merchandise.

Combining that knowledge with your need to 'be in front of them' as much as possible, product strengthening via promotional items is a no-brainer.

They are clear, simple, and enduring. Their power as a communication medium is well established; almost expected.
